FAQ
Patient Questions
Helpful answers before your visit.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment through our website, call the clinic, or contact us via WhatsApp. Our team will help you choose a convenient time.
When should I get an eye checkup?
Adults should generally have routine eye examinations every one to two years, or more frequently if advised by their eye specialist.
What should I bring to my eye appointment?
Please bring your current glasses or contact lenses, previous eye reports if available, a list of medications, and relevant medical or insurance documents.
How long does a complete eye examination take?
A routine eye examination typically takes around 30–60 minutes. Additional diagnostic tests may require more time.
Do you provide emergency eye care?
Yes. Please contact the clinic promptly for sudden vision loss, eye injury, severe eye pain, flashes or floaters, or other urgent eye symptoms.
Is cataract surgery painful?
Cataract surgery is generally performed using local or topical anaesthesia to keep the eye comfortable. Your ophthalmologist will explain the procedure and recovery beforehand.
How do I know if I may have cataracts?
Common symptoms include blurred or cloudy vision, glare around lights, difficulty seeing at night, faded colours, and frequent changes in glasses prescription.
Do you provide LASIK or refractive surgery consultation?
Yes. A detailed eye evaluation can determine whether LASIK or another vision-correction procedure may be suitable for you.
Do you provide eye examinations for children?
Yes. Children's eye examinations can help identify vision problems early and assess concerns such as refractive errors, squint, or reduced vision.
Can glaucoma develop without symptoms?
Yes. Some forms of glaucoma can progress without noticeable early symptoms, which is why regular eye examinations are important, particularly for people at increased risk.
Will my eyes be dilated during the examination?
Dilating drops may be recommended when your ophthalmologist needs a detailed examination of the retina or other internal structures of the eye. Temporary blurred near vision and light sensitivity can occur afterward.
Do you accept health insurance or cashless treatment?
Insurance and cashless treatment availability depends on your insurer and treatment. Please contact our reception team with your policy details to confirm eligibility before your visit.
